Talk to me! One size fits no one
Talk to me! One size fits no one are a series of films made by young people about the transition from school to adulthood for young people with autism and or learning disabilities.
Your Futures out there
In 2010 a group of young people in Sunderland worked with staff to create a guide about becoming an adult. It was designed to help young people with a learning disability, autism or both and their families. Lots of young people and their families were interviewed as part of the project, talking about different options and choices. Different professionals were also interviewed about their role in supporting young people at this time. The whole project was led by the young people themselves, and they did all the filming and interviewing. It was a great resource at the time and a lot of it is still relevant to young people today, no matter where they live. These are all videos that were made at the time.
